 A few months ago, fans' dreams of having Ultra Instinct Shaggy featured in a Mortal Kombat game indirectly came true when Shaggy was announced to be in MultiVersus, a character fighting game created by one of the developers of the Mortal Kombat games. According to EventHub.com, not only will Shaggy be in this game, but Velma will now also be joining the lineup of characters you can play as. Velma's design has not currently been revealed.
In addition, by going to Multiversus.com, you can now enter your email to win a chance to beta test out the game before it is released!

I was surprised by that too! Velma has no reason to be in this game lol. You think they would have picked Scooby.

I did a little research on it and I think you're right. I found a screenshot from someone who has beta-tested the game, and on the screen where you select the characters, there is a question mark denoting a locked character. I have no issue with her being in the game(even if I don't know how they are going to make a move set for her) but the fact that she's in the game before scooby doo is baffling to me with shaggy I understand why he's in the game before scooby but with Velma Idk. 3/5/2022 02:18:02 pm
Someone pointed out to me that perhaps it's to advertise the upcoming Velma series on HBO Max? I'm not sure if that's the reason, but it's the only reason I can think of at the moment.
