Thanks to some amazing sleuthing by super Scooby fan Bradford N. Smith, and some commentary by SCOOB! movie production designer Michael Kurinsky, we've got some new info on SCOOB! The funny part is, all of this was in the two trailers all along, but slipped right under our noses! 1. Dee Dee Skyes' Badge You know that symbol of the T and wings on Dee Dee's suit? It's actually the film's redesign (or rather, creation) of the Teen Angels logo! 3. Code That code that Velma's deciphering? It's actually got "Kurinsky," as in Michael Kurinsky's, name, in it! 4. Cogswell Billboard If you zoom in one of the billboards from the trailer, it's a billboard from Cogswell Cogs from The Jetsons! 5. The Munsters Reference When Shaggy and Scooby trick-or-treating in the trailer, there's a reference to the Munsters' address, 1313 Mockingbird Lane. 6. The Amount of Calories in a Scooby Snack! Zooming in on the Scooby Snacks box, you can see it is 850 calories and is "high fructose flavor!" 7. The Impossibles
While trick-or-treating, you can see that kids dressed like The Impossibles (from Frankenstein Jr. and the Impossibles) are in the trailer! Thanks so much to Bradford for his detailed analysis of the trailer, and to Michael Kurinsky for answering this for the fans!

These are all pretty cool, except number 2, which to me seemed pretty easy to work out.

For me, they appeared so fast that I didn't make the connection. I will admit to have only watched the trailer once though.

Fair enough, what cemented for me was there is a bit where Velma is dissecting one of the robots and then looks up something on the computer which revealed Dick as the villain, or is it Rick, https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ca-rG2RL3qQ Leave a Reply. |
