Ooh good question!! The 1998-2001 films are definitely my favorites. You can tell how much love was put into every aspect of those films, from the comedy to the dark tone to the maturity of the characters and story. I wish they'd go back to making movies like this! 9/29/2019 01:34:40 pm

I LOVE the 1980s films, especially Boo Brothers and Ghoul School. Boo Brothers has the mystery aspect perfect and I like the adventure and whimsy of Ghoul School, especially when it gets into the darker undertones later on in the film.

I will have to respectfully disagree with some of the comments I personally STRONGLY dislike when real monsters are used which is why Ghoul School and Boo Brothers are low points of the Scooby franchise for me. I prefer movies like Camp Scare, Abracadabra Doo, and Moon Monster Madness that can be dark and exciting while maintaining the classic man in mask format. I think it never gets old because it’s always a different monster and villain. To me that’s Scooby at his best. This might be unpopular but I HATE Zombie Island and think it’s overrated. 9/30/2019 09:42:21 am
That's fair, given Scooby's classic formula has always been man-in-a-mask. Honestly I've never heard anyone say they hate Zombie Island, but it makes sense given your love for the original formula. Thanks for sharing your opinion!

Huh, don't think I did last weeks one. For me it would probably be Zomba although scariest villain in the whole series would have to go to the Werewolves from episode 1. As for this weeks 1980's definitely. also I like the polls! 9/30/2019 12:40:01 pm
Should have voted for Zomba then, you would have broken the tie haha! I'm debating whether to keep doing them. I'm enjoying them, but I've admittedly been disappointed to see that people are voting multiple times for the same thing. I get a notification when it happens, but it's irritating to try to delete like 10+ fraudulent votes every time.

Yeah, there are a couple people doing it. Weebly notifies me when the same IP address votes more than once. I've probably gotten 10 notifications and had to delete 10 of the votes from just this Sunday's poll alone so far. It's irritating, and I'm not sure if it's intentional or just kids messing around. It is indeed stupid of people to do that, but the end results are always accurate as I delete the falsified votes. Leave a Reply. |
