I am so excited for this movie to come out. I’ve been reading comments of the trailer of this film on YouTube saying that fans of both shows have been waiting for this two Scaredy dogs teaming together and now its finally happening. Judging by the trailer it looks like they are putting a lot of effort into this movie. I absolutely cannot wait.

Yeah, the shows sound so similar that I think it was long overdue for them to have a crossover. I can't wait either!

At least we're now getting a crossover people were asking for. For >20 years even

As for the bonus episodes: Decoy for A Dognapper, The Gruesome Game of The Gator Ghoul, and The Chiller Diller Movie Thriller, those don’t really match the theme of the movie. However, I can see why they pick them.

That's a good explanation, particularly for "Decoy for a Dognapper," though all of them are still a bit of a stretch. Wait, do you think Scooby-Dum could be making a cameo in this film? Is that why we're getting two episodes with him?

I still think that these would be better as bonus episodes: When The Cicada Calls, The Bee Team, and The Creepy Creature of Vultures Claw.

Those are so much better bonus episode choices. You should be the one picking these instead of whoever did it at WB haha.

Looking at those bonus episodes, well I suppose Scooby Doo and Dum hitting on their cousin was weird and very creepy, lol. Still it will be nice to hopefully get that episode on dvd here in UK.

Hahahaha that's my new theory for why they included that episode lol. I forgot that you haven't gotten the episode on DVD yet in the UK! I'm glad you're finally getting it.

I hope we get some more clips too! Haha Also, Fred, Daphne and Velma haven't been on the front cover of a movie since Curse of the 13th Ghost, unless you count SCOOB! It's weird that they've stopped including them on the covers. 6/29/2021 02:35:54 am
Let's keep an eye out for the Scooby-Doo Reunion trailer

I highly doubt we will see a trailer for Scooby-Doo Reunion anytime soon I suspect it will come out towards the end of the year most likely towards christmas. also we may be stuck with the trailer for the Courage movie only. The thing to bear in mind is that last time we only got the trailer for sword and the scoob and nothing beyond that.

I'd think we'd get a trailer a little while before Christmas if we're getting one at all, since it's airing sometime this year, but yeah, it's very possible we wouldn't even get a trailer for this. I'm not really sure.

I’m hoping this movie will be both critically and financially successful so Courage the Cowardly Dog could get a potential revival, or something like that.

I think a lot of people would love that! Hopefully it will be.

I don't think this will lead to a revival of the courage series, besides I don't think it would be a be good idea at least not if Dilworth would not be involved in it. I for one would not care to see such a series with out him directing and writing such a show. Besides they have already been attempts to revive the courage franchise for years now.

I doubt it would either since Dilworth isn't involved with it, but I suppose you never know with shows like Jellystone getting made with HB properties that haven't been seen in a long time.

At least it will introduce Scooby-Doo fans of all ages (including today’s generation) to Courage the Cowardly Dog.

I agree! That's the reason I'm so happy they're doing this crossover, because many fans (including me) haven't seen the show, and a crossover is a great way to introduce us to a show that's similar to Scooby :)

For the bonus cartoons, they should have had a least one or two Scooby cartoons and one or two episodes of Courage. I think one true Courage episode that should be in this movie is ‘The Fog of Courage’ because we’ve never seen ‘The Fog of Courage’ on DVD, iTunes, etc. We’ve just seen it on YouTube and on Dailymotion. I think they should release the episode along with this movie with approval by John R. Dilworth first. I would love to have my own copy of ‘The Fog of Courage’ on iTunes and other streaming platforms. They also should have a DVD with the movie and the complete series of Courage The Cowardly Dog combined like Return To Zombie Island & Curse of the 13th Ghost where it also shows the promos for the ‘Scooby & Courage: Scare-A-Thon’ and other Scooby and Courage promos. I wish this could happen but who knows. Maybe this is a mystery that will hopefully be solved in the future🔍. We’ll just have to wait and see.

I don't follow Courage, but that's really interesting to know that Courage still has episodes that have never been released on DVD either. Do you (or anyone else) know if there's a lot of missing Courage episodes out of curiosity?

My one problem is the designs. Maybe there is some merging of the two, but not enough.

It looks a little off to me from what I've seen of the original designs, though I've also never watched the original Courage so my opinion is probably a lot different than others who are very familiar with the original show.

I would've gathered Michael Ryan would be the writer considering Courage's appearance comes from being on Guess Who first.

I was thinking that too! I read somewhere (I don't remember where) that they were thinking about bringing on Maxwell Atoms for this film again, but he declined to be respectful to Dilworth, since he wasn't consulted at all for the creation of this film.
