For the Teen Titans GO! Halloween special this year, the Scooby gang will be crossing over with the Teen Titans GO! characters. The episode, called "Cartoon Feud," will have a villain called Control Freak forcing the Titans and the Scooby gang to compete on Family Feud together.

It's the first time that Scooby and Teen Titans have crossed over in television, though Scooby did previously crossover with Teen Titans Go! in the Scooby-Doo! Team Up comic series in issue #4.

The episode will air on Friday, October 4 at 5pm central in the United States, according to AnimationMagazine (note that the source incorrectly says it is a Monday, though October 4 is indeed a Friday).

You can watch a preview clip of the episode below:

I hate TTG only because it's low quality and reruns always ended up replacing new episodes of Scooby on CN. However I will watch this one because it's Scooby and I do plan to watch the TTG theatrical movie sometime because it seems different than the show (and because Halsey voices Wonder Woman, happy birthday Halsey! <3)

I'll watch it as well, just to see what it is. I'm not excited beyond belief though or anything, especially when we've had about 3 billion crossovers lately. And happy birthday Halsey! :)

Not sure whether to be intrigued or horrified.

Teen Titans Go! is generally awful with very occasional moments of really funny. While I'm a fan of the Teen Titans, the "Go!" version is one that I only watch out of brand loyalty. I suspect that this episode will be slightly better than the average but even Scooby isn't likely to make this show actually watchable.

The good news is that it'll all be over in about 11 minutes...

I've never watched Teen Titans Go! in honesty, but brand loyalty makes sense and it's something I've felt with Scooby as well. Interesting to know it's only 11 minutes, I was assuming it was 22. Let's hope it's up in a decent period of time on WatchCartoonOnline...they still haven't even put up the last episode of Guess Who.

"I've never watched Teen Titans Go!"

You are fortunate. It's a "comedic" take on the classic superhero show from the early 2000s, voiced by the same actors. Among the fans of the original show, TTG is often despised for it's approach to the characters, something the show's makers fully embrace.

In the most recent DTV, Teen Titans Go! Vs. Teen Titans, the original characters and the TTG version crossover in a multiverse meeting and at one point the "real" Robin says something like:

"At first I thought they were the comedic versions of us but I'm starting to think they're the jerk versions."

As you might guess, I'm really not a fan, particularly of the way that they turned Robin from the leader into the jerk that bosses the others around to the point that they all pretty much hate him.

But. Brand loyalty. Despite all that, I still own the whole show on dvd up to the current release.

I've heard that it's pretty hated, but interesting that the creators point that out as well. That's cool that they make fun of it, and even though I'm not a huge fan of Teen Titans (beyond seeing some episodes of the classic show), it sounds awesome that the two versions interact with each other. I wish they'd do something like that in Scooby. They did it in the Team Up comic I guess (haven't gotten around to reading it yet), but I wish they'd do a film like that for Scooby as well too comparing all the different versions over the years.

I feel the same way about brand loyalty with Scooby, so I totally get it!

And following on from my previous comment, the last Guess Who episode has finally been posted on WatchCartoonOnline.

A crossover where the SDWAY gang meets the WNSD and/or other versions of the characters is WAY overdue.

It's a standard trope in superhero shows both live (the various CW shows crossover every year and that often includes "alternate" versions of various characters) and animated (it's the basis of the recent Into the Spider-Verse film, among LOTS of examples) and now that you've mentioned it, it's hard to believe they haven't done it yet!

Fertile ground for fan fiction too, I'd say.

It is hard to believe they've never done that! It's been done in fanfiction, and surprisingly well. Here's a link to one story where it's been done nicely (I'm sure it's been done other times too) http://scoobyaddicts.proboards.com/thread/5411/scooby-doo-verse

Just watched it on Kim, it's okay. Could have done with being a double episode though.

Having just watched it myself, I'm minded to agree. The game show was only 2 questions which felt a little short.

It seems like a lot of cartoons are choosing Scooby as their Halloween crossover of choice, between Teen Titans GO! this year and OK KO's "Monster Party" short last year with the Grimwood Girls.
