Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? Season 2 DVD Back Cover

In just two more weeks, Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? season 2 will be finally released on DVD! The back cover of the DVD has just been revealed, which you can see below. A big thanks to Scoobyfan4ever for sharing this with me!

The DVD's seem to have a hard time ever putting the episodes in the right order lol

I've noticed that too haha. In their defense, there was a lot of variation in the order the episodes were aired in from country to country, so I can sort of see why some of the episodes would be mixed up. I wish they'd be more consistent about order across countries when they're airing these.

I was waiting for this. As i can see it would have spanish dub as the first season set (and also spanish subs, wich the first set didn't have it); very happy with that

Are there any bonus or special features in this dvd? I remember that I don’t think there were any bonus or special features in the season 1 dvd.

I don't think so. They haven't announced any, and usually they'd always be listed on the back cover, so I'm pretty sure this will be like the season 1 DVD where there's no special features unfortunately. I miss the days where they would always put special features on the DVDs. It feels like they've barely done that lately, and even with the DTVs, they just put a couple of bonus episodes on there and call it good. I hope someday they either go back to the special features, or try to release previously unreleased episodes as bonus features.

Speaking of Guess Who, I was scrolling through Tumblr, and I saw this fan made episode of Dolly Parton by oncerbat (that’s the persons tumblr name).

It really sounds like it could’ve been a Dolly Parton episode. So I wanted to share with you guys. Here it is:

I decided to write my own Scooby-Doo and Guess Who fanfic of if Dolly Parton had agreed to guest star on the show. Dolly design based on an unused design from one of the show’s animators on Instagram. Without further ado, here it is:

SPOOKIN’ 9 TO 5!

Guest starring: Dolly Parton

The Mystery Machine is driving along a country road.

Like, I can’t believe we’re actually going to Dollywood!” Shaggy says.

“I know,” Daphne says, “And we get to meet country music legend Dolly Parton and have front road seats at her concert tonight!”

Jinkies, I didn’t know you were a Dolly fan, Daphne!” Velma says.

“Are you kidding?” Daphne replies, “I’m obsessed with Dolly Parton! My family and I grew up listening to her music! And 9 to 5 is my favorite movie!”

“Well, gang,” Fred says, “We’re here! Welcome to Dollywood!”

“Jeepers!” Daphne exclaims. They got out of the Mystery Machine at the theme park’s entrance.

“Like, I can’t wait to try all the food, Scoob!” Shaggy says.

“Roh-reah!” Scooby replies.

“Hey gang!” comes a familiar voice as the entire gang turns to see who is greeting them!”

“It’s actress, author, philanthropist, entrepreneur, entertainer and country music legend, Dolly Parton!” the gang all exclaims in unison.

“Oh, it’s just lil’ ol’ me!” Dolly replies. “I’m just a backwoods Barbie! I ain’t nothin’ special!”

“You’re too modest, Miss Parton!” Daphne says.

Oh please, honey, call me Dolly!” Dolly says.

Ok, Dolly,” Daphne says, “You’re a big inspiration to me!”

I’m honored,” Dolly says, “Now, how about you kids join me on the grand tour?”

“And then can we like, eat?” Shaggy asks.

“Shaggy, you’ll have plenty a’ food! Here in Tennessee, we don’t let anyone leave hungry! Wait ‘til you get a taste of some good ol’ Southern cookin’!” Dolly says. “Before we begin the tour, I have to show y’all my imagination library!”

“A reminder, Miss Parton,” a tall thin man in sunglasses and a suit says, coming up to them, “You have to prepare for your concert 2 hours before showtime at 8 tonight!”

“Dang-flabbit, Jake, I know it!” Dolly says, “This here’s my assistant, Jake. He can be a little uptight sometimes.”

She hops on a tour cart with them and drives over to a small building marked, “The Imagination Library”

“This here’s what tonight’s concert is gonna be benefittin’!” Dolly says, “I’ve always understood the importance of literacy among children.”

She opens the doors and screams.

Jinkies!” Velma exclaims, “All the books are gone!”

“What in tarnation could’ve happened?” Dolly asks.

“I don’t know,” Fred says, “but it looks like we have a mystery on our hands!”

Suddenly, a green apparition appears. The ghost has a long beard, straw hat and overalls.

“Like, Dolly, is that part of your imagination too?” Shaggy asks nervously.

“No, Shaggy, it looks like Crackerjack Wilson, otherwise known ‘round these parts as the Ghost of the Great Smoky Mountains!” Dolly says.

“Like, I know what that means!” Shaggy replies, “RUN!”

Dolly and the gang make a break for it as the ghost chases them. As the ghost heads out into the main area of the park, it draws the attention of frightened visitors, who promptly leave the park. Dolly turns to face the oncoming ghost.

“Now look here, Crackerjack!” Dolly scolds, “You’re chasin’ away all my fans!”

The gang grab her and run away before the ghost can attack her.

“Jeepers, Dolly, who is that ghost?” Daphne asks.

“Well Daphne, here in the Great Smoky Mountains, we have a legend, dating all the way back to when I was a kid, and even before!” Dolly says, “Long ago, they say Crackerjack Wilson was a prospector who got lost in a cave-in and was never heard from again! They say every few months, Crackerjack’s ghost haunts the old Smokies…but what could he have done with my cockadoodie books?”

“That’s a mystery worth checking out!” Fred says.

“We might as well follow them,” Fred says, “You never know where a clue could turn up.”

A few moments later, inside Aunt Granny’s restaurant, a young woman greets them from behind the counter.

“Hey y’all, I’m Nadine!” she says, “Welcome to Aunt Granny’s!”

Velma raises an eyebrow, as she notices mud on the ground behind Nadine.

“Oh, don’t mind the mess,” Nadine says, “The hogs got loose in here recently. What can I getcha?”

“Like, we’ll have a hot fudge Sundae, home-style biscuits, mashed potatoes, fried chicken and stuffing smothered in gravy!” Shaggy says.

“Reah, rots rof ravy!”Scooby adds. “Rand rooby racks!”

“Comin’ right up!” Nadine says.

“We’ll leave you to do your ‘investigating’ while we search in other places,” Fred says.

“And remember, if you find anything, call us!” Velma says.

“Like, don’t worry, Velma, we’ll be fine!” Shaggy says.

A short while later, Shaggy and Scooby are devouring the delicious morsels before them. Suddenly, they hear what sounds like a growl.

“Like, Scoob, that was your stomach, right?” Shaggy asks nervously.

“Ruh-uh,” Scooby replies.

“I was afraid of that,” Shaggy says, as he and Scooby turn around slowly, and terrified to find the ghost of Crackerjack Wilson! Shaggy and Scooby bolt for the door. The ghost begins chasing them around the park, which is now empty.

Meanwhile, Fred, Daphne, Velma and Dolly are in another area of the park, investigating the case of the missing books. They come to the Chasing Rainbows museum.

“This here’s the Chasin’ Rainbows museum!” Dolly says, “if my books are anywhere, they’re here!”

“Hold the phone!” Fred says, “Here’s the outfit you wore in the TV movie, Unlikely Angel!”

“Yeah, that was a fun one!” Dolly says, “I loved working with Roddy McDowall!”

“And here’s your outfit from Straight Talk!” Fred says, “And here’s what you wore in The Best Little Who—”

“Uh, Fred,” Velma interjects, “I think it’s time to look for clues now.”

“Right,” Fred says, “Let’s split up, gang!”

“WHO GOES THERE?” comes a voice as, a light shines on all of them.

“It’s just me, Michael,” Dolly says.

“Oh, it’s you, Miss Parton, I didn’t recognize you at first,” Michael replies. He is an older man with glasses.

“That’s ok, Michael,” Dolly says, “It’s nice to not be recognized once in a while! My friends and I are just gonna look around for some lost items, is that ok?”

“That’s fine,” Michael says, “Anything you want.”

“Michael here’s been with me since the 80’s,” Dolly says, turning to the kids, “He’s the curator of Dollywood’s own museum here. I call him my guardian angel.”

“Just don’t go messin’ up my inventory, kids!” Michael snapped.

“We’ll be careful, sir!” Fred says.

“Jeepers,” Daphne says, “For a guardian angel, he sure is grumpy!”

“He’s a little rough around the edges, but once you get to know him, he softens right up!” Dolly says.

“I’m not so sure about that,” Velma said, “I hate to say it, but he could be a suspect.”

“Is she always this cynical?” Dolly asks Daphne.

“Pretty much,” Daphne says.

“It’s not cynicism, it’s being deductive.” Velma says. “Michael seems very territorial over this museum, which is the perfect way to hide something stolen.”

“We could always ask him,” Dolly says.

“No, that’s too forward,” Velma says, “Besides, he’d never admit in a million years. Our best bet is to try to find the missing books.”

“But why would he do it?” Dolly asks, “And what does the ghost of Crackerjack Wilson have to do with it?”

“Good questions,” Velma says, “I hope we can find answers.”

“The main question now,” Fred says, “is how are we going to trap the ghost?”

“You’re not,” comes a voice. It’s Dolly’s assistant, Jake. “Miss Parton has a very busy schedule.”

“Uh, Jake,” Dolly said, “In case you have noticed, all the fans left the park! The ghost of Crackerjack Wilson scared ‘em all away! The sooner we catch

“Uh, Jake,” Dolly said, “In case you have noticed, all the fans left the park! The ghost of Crackerjack Wilson scared ‘em all away! The sooner we catch this dang ghost, the sooner we can do the concert! Plus, those kids need the books from the Imagination Library and they’ve been stolen!”

“I wasn’t talking about the concert, Dolly,” Jake said, “Thanks to the ghost shenanigans here in Dollywood, you now have interviews scheduled with Jimmy Fallon, the Today Show, and Wake Up Tennessee! They’re all wanting to know if Dollywood is haunted!”

“We’ve got enough fake news to worry about without this nonsense!” Dolly says. “Well, I guess I’ve gotta make a statement!”

“Not if we catch the ghost first!” Fred says.

“Ghost!!” Shaggy screams as he and Scooby come bolting through the door.

“You guys saw the ghost?” Daphne asks.

“Like yeah,” Shaggy says, “We were filling our bellies at Aunt Granny’s when Crackerjack Wilson appeared!”

“Reah, re ras rary!” Scooby says.

“Good thing you guys are here!” Velma says.

“So we can, like, compare notes?” Shaggy asks.

“Nope,” Fred says, “Because we need bait for our ghost trap!”

“Like, I was afraid of that.” Shaggy says with a gulp.

Meanwhile, Dolly and the gang are preparing the trap for the ghost. Shaggy and Scooby are wearing straw hats and are pushing empty wheelbarrows.

“LIKE, SCOOB, IT SURE WOULD BE NICE TO FIND THAT THERE GOLD ON THESE HERE PARTS!” Shaggy says loudly.

“REAH!” Scooby replies.

“I think you fellas need some musical accompaniment!” Dolly says, as she gets out her guitar and stars strumming.

“You ought to go north somebody told us

Cause the air is filled with gold dust

And fortune falls like snow flakes in your hands

Now I don't recall who said it

But we'd lived so long on credit

And so we headed out to find our promised land”

As she is singing, Fred is preparing the trap with the help of Daphne and Velma, which includes a pile of fake gold and a net that will release once the ghost falls for the lure.

Just poor Smoky Mountains farm folk

With nothing more than high hopes

So we hitched our station wagon to a star

But our dreams all fell in on us

Cause there was no land of promise

Though it's a stuggle just keepin' sight of who you are

Oh and these northern nights are dreary

And my southern heart is weary

As I wonder how the old folks are back home

But I know that they all love me

And they're all thinking of me

The Smoky Mountains memories keep me strong

Suddenly, Shaggy and Scooby hear a noise behind them. They turn around, and sure enough, it’s Crackerjack Wilson! They make a break for it and lure the ghost to the trap, but Crackerjack manages to evade the net, and Scooby and Shaggy get trapped instead.

“I don’t believe it!” Fred says, “My traps never fail!”

“You might want to take a look back at your track record, Freddy,” Daphne says.

“Don’t worry, Freddy,” Dolly says, “This ain’t my first rodeo! Let me show y’all how we in the South do things!”

She lassos the ghost and hogties him.

“Let’s see who you really are!” Fred says.

“Like I bet it’s Dolly’s assistant, Jake,” Shaggy says.

“I bet it’s that shifty Michael from the museum,” Daphne says.

Fred pulls off the mask to reveal…

“NADINE?!” they all exclaim in unison.

“But why?” Shaggy asks, “Like, you were so nice?”

“Reah, rand rou rake reat rood!” Scooby says.

“No one appreciates me!” Nadine says, “Plus, I heard tell of Dollywood sittin’ on a goldmine! I had to drive everyone away in order to find it!”

“But why steal my books, Nadine?” Dolly asks. “And why’d you come in here lookin’ like that?”

“I figured I would use them as leverage to get you to give me the gold.” Nadine says. “And I wanted the scare away the patrons!”

“That was a pretty rotten thing to do, Nadine!” Daphne says.

“I would’ve gotten away with it too, if it weren’t for you meddlin’ kids, your dumb dog, and country music legend Dolly Parton!” Nadine says.

“See, Velma,” Dolly says, “You don’t have to be so suspicious of everybody.”

“Actually, I had a hunch it might be Nadine.” Velma says.

You did?” Fred asks. “How?”

“Well, when we did our little tour with Dolly, I noticed someone with muddy shoes lugging something suspicious. I didn’t make anything of

“Well, when we did our little tour with Dolly, I noticed someone with muddy shoes lugging something suspicious. I didn’t make anything of it at the time, and didn’t get a good look at who it was either. But when we got to the Imagination Library, I noticed the same mud on the front steps, with what looked like part of a footprint.” Velma says, “I also should add that there was some mud behind the counter at the restaurant and whenever Crackerjack was near, didn’t you smell something that smelled like day-old baked goods?”

“Like, come to think of it, yeah!” Shaggy says.

“Ra rost rid rell rericious!” Scooby says. “Rut ras rill rary!”

“And she made the ghost costume with items in the pantry of the restaurant!” Velma says.

“Nadine, Nadine, Nadine, Nadiiine!

I’m beggin’ of you please don’t take my books!” Dolly sings.

“Nadine, Nadine, Nadine, Nadiiine!

Please tell us where ya hid my books!”

“I think I may have the answer!”

They go to Aunt Granny’s restaurant and find a trapdoor in the pantry, revealing a huge bag.

“Zoinks!” Shaggy says, “I never would’ve guessed!”

“My books!” Dolly exclaims! “Now we can give ‘em to deserving kids!”

“Yee-haw!” Daphne shouts, donning a cowboy hat, “Now let’s party!”

Nadine gets arrested while Dolly sings and Scooby and the gang groove to the music. The gang passes out the Imagination Library books to the kids. The kids pet and hug Scooby.

“Rooby-Rooby-Roo!” Scooby says.

No worries, I found out about a month ago that apparently there's a 1,000 word limit on comments, so that's why it was cutting your comments off. This was a nice fanfic. Dolly's personality was interesting haha. I will say I found Dolly's random comment about "We’ve got enough fake news to worry about!" a bit odd and out of place, but otherwise I thought this was a decent fanfic. Thanks for sharing this!

Your welcome. I remember that Tracy Mark Lee said that most guess who episodes or all episodes were centered around the guest stars personal life or back ground.

This fan made episode title is based of her movie and song. It takes place in Dollywood. Her other songs are in this fan made episode.
