This was a really cute episode.
This was probably one of the episodes I've enjoyed the most so far. I felt like the pacing was pretty good, the interactions between Scooby and Wonder Woman were super cute, and the villain was pretty cool. All the locations were genuinely spooky and gave a very creepy vibe to the episode. Wonder Woman seemed like a good guest star! I know some were worried about the feminist message being too overpowering, but I thought they did a really nice job with it. They had their moments of female power, which were definitely warranted given it was Wonder Woman, but it also didn't undermine the rest of the episode which was good. They also gave viewers a good message about gender equality, rather than just saying "screw the men." I did think Scooby's line "Boys' locker room, girls' locker room!" was kind of odd, just because it didn't really fit with anything unless they were attempting to introduce the issue of gender neutral bathrooms? Either way it was a strange thing to mention. All the characters were pretty on-point this time, my only criticism being Scooby's long monologue at the end. While the content of the speech itself was certainly inspiring as it was intended to be, it doesn't really fit with Scooby's character to speak in gigantic paragraphs worth of dialogue, in my opinion. Otherwise, Scooby was great in this episode, and I particularly enjoyed his and Shaggy's "truths" when they were captured by the magic lasso. One small other criticism I had was that the initial training session with the girls seemed like it was way too short. Overall, this was an enjoyable episode with a very fun, positive feminist message in it.

I may be biased because I'm Greek, but this was my favorite Guess Who episode so far. I was pulling my hair of course when Shaggy and Scooby wrecked the museum, but other than that I enjoyed it a lot. I loved the interactions between Scooby and Wonder Woman, it was the cutest part of the episode imo.

Loved this one! The voice actress who got the Wonder Woman role was excellent and the whole episode worked well. It was a bit odd to see the gang all kick-ee punch-ee but in a fun way.

The 1000 faces title was really odd, lol. Yeah, Lon Chaney was parodied in the original New Scooby-Doo Movies episode "The Exterminator." It would have been cool for them to save that title, and use it for a callback to the original episode...though I doubt WB would do that.

I think it was meant to be an illusion to Joseph Campbell's The Hero with a Thousand Faces which was a book analyzing ancient mythology. This ties into Wonder Woman's Greek mythological background. However, they screwed up the reference because they Of a Thousand Faces instead of With a Thousand Faces

Oh, did not know that. That makes more sense, but too bad that they screwed up the reference lol.

Surprised by how good this episode was, would agree Scooby's monologue was a bit ugh, but otherwise I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I don't think Scooby should speak in such long sentences, as it doesn't really fit with his character. I speech itself was good, however.

I think Wind nailed it with the cute factor. As I suspected, the pure attraction to Wonder Woman as an all-time great character is what moved the ball here. The mystery itself went nowhere. The dialog was a mixed bag as seems to be a recurring theme with this series. The editing was nonexistent (senseless and incoherent Scooby ranting that appeared to possibly be for political reasons and zero else but I'm not even sure of that) ... but, at the end of the day and with all the frivolity and inconsequential, squandered potential ... you had to kind of like it. It was cute. There was some interesting push/pull between WW's way and The Gang's way, and a few good lines scattered here and there.

I really liked the Colosseum bit! I definitely agree with you though about the "average, but good average" comment. It wasn't quite as good as that Sherlock Holmes one, which I kinda wish they would go back to that tone for other episodes. I don't think this series will ever be perfect, but that was as close to perfect as I think we're going to get.
