This was such an amazing episode and a perfect way to honor Alex Trebek. It was so cool they released this episode early.
The way they structured this episode like a game of Jeopardy was super unique and original, and it was so fun to see them do something different and creative. You could tell a lot of love was put into this episode. Alex Trebek was an amazing guest star, and I really liked Max Kilobyte as a villain as well. It was interesting to have a villain that wasn't really fully a villain all the time, as in, he was calm and unthreatening unless someone was beating him. I liked how they worked a re-imagining of the classic bit with Scooby running into the robot in a barrel as well! This was one of the best episodes of Guess Who and it will be rated as such: I'm placing this at #2. After a rewatch of the Kristen Schaal episode, I'm also moving that one way up to #3, moving everything else down a spot. Star-Studded Scoreboard: 1. I Put a Hex on You! 2. Total Jeopardy! 3. This episode was interesting to say the least. I liked that Velma really shined in this episode. I liked the barrel/robot reference but at the same time I'm disappointed that we had another robot this season. I like that it was Jeopardy themed and Alex seemed to enjoy the role. I honestly don't think I could rank this episode, at least not until the end of the season. It was a good episode, but it doesn't feel like Scooby-Doo.

I really didn't mind that there was another robot, but if one had to be ranked over the other, I'd say this one was far better in terms of making sense setting-wise than the Laila Ali one.

That is because it was taken from Poland where it was broadcasted on television. This episode is from Boomerang in the US. In a day or two, someone from kimcartoon will take this episode from the streaming service but to upload The Lost Soles of Jungle River, they would need to use the Google drive link I give all of you, which I do not to know how to pass that along to the right people.

Sooo since we got this (kind of) out of the blue, when can we expect more Season 2 Part 2/Volume 4 episodes? Think it’ll be every Friday? That sure would be nice.

The next 11 episodes are the last with nothing new immediately on the horizon. I doubt the rest of the episodes will come this soon, but my best guess would be February.

Yeah, I don't think it will be anytime soon unfortunately. This one just came out because they wanted to do something special for Alex Trebek's passing.

I agree! I kind of wish we would have gotten a dedication to him at the end, but I suppose it was such a quick turnaround since his death that there probably was no time.

I don't know but I think this robot fits better in this episode than in the boxing one so yeah I don't know I think for the boxing one they could have done a ghost of a boxer or something other than a robot 11/14/2020 06:55:27 pm
Yeah, I agree the robot in this episode fits far better than the one in Laila's episode.

I agree I already mentioned to Wildwind Vampire that the monster for the Laila Ali episode should’ve been a kangaroo monster because a kangaroo has boxing skills. Every time think a about the Laila Ali episode, my idea of the kangaroo monster comes to mind. The episode was good I just thought the were lazy with the monster.

i have already watch two clips from the episode, but i could only see Max Kilobytes top half. What does his bottom half look like? If nobody minds me asking.

His legs are kind of metallic looking, and are similar to the way his arms look (except with feet).

Oh! He has legs? I was hoping his bottom half would be a simaler design to Jeaves the robot from Whats New, Scooby-Doo?, you know because he doesnt have legs. But thanks anyway.

I have to go with Peralaan on this one, it doesn't really feel like an episode of Scooby Doo this one and although funny and enjoyable at times, there were just so many things I didn't like about it.

That's one big problem with Guess Who admittedly, that some episodes require you have previous knowledge of the guest star for you to like the episode. This is why I didn't like the Ricky Gervais episode, though I have some knowledge of Ricky, I wasn't a huge fan of him dominating the whole episode so much. I can see why you wouldn't like this episode, but I really liked the Jeopardy format and Alex Trebek which is why this was such an amazing episode for me.

I hate to disagree with you on one thing WildwindVampire but I have watched every single episode of Gues Who and out of all honesty I did not really have any problem with them at all. 11/21/2020 10:37:19 am
I'm glad you can enjoy all the episodes, Jakob! There were just some episodes for me that I didn't really like because of the guest star, Ricky Gervais and Jim Gaffigan probably being the biggest examples.

I watched the Alex trebek episode last night and it was awesome. Alex was a great guest star. I liked how he explained facts while running with the gang. Also anyone else noticed that Alex runs just like Fred. Scooby in a barrel and running into Max Kilobyte just like running into Charlie the Finland robot. Alex trebek did a very good jibe in this episode. May his soul rest in piece.

That's a great idea, thank you! I'll add it to the long list that I have of people's suggestions haha :) I feel like you or someone else also suggested favorite clown a while ago, so maybe we could do a theme of favorite villain types for a few weeks or something.

That would be good. For movie polls, I don’t know if you have them line up but what about favorite films of the first direct to video movies: Zombie island, Witches ghost, Alien invaders, Cyber chase. Retro feel movies: Legend of the vampire, Monster of Mexico. Movies based on what’s me Scooby doo. Loch Ness monster, Aloha, Where my mummy, Pirates ahoy, Chill out, Goblin king, Samurai sword.

Oh wow. I'd have to say my least favorite of the season was "The Hot Dog Dog!"
