Yesterday, it was announced by ComingSoon.Net that Ken Jeong would be starring in the animated theatrical movie set for a May 15, 2020 release. Jeong will be voicing Dynomutt, while Kiersey Clemons also has joined the cast as Dee Dee Sykes of Captain Caveman and the Teen Angels.
Thanks to SpiderScooby, it has also been revealed that WB is once again referring to the movie as "SCOOB!" (slightly altered from the previous title S.C.O.O.B.). This was announced at WB's CinemaCon over the weekend. Photo courtesy of ComingSoon.Net.

Am I the only one highly confused why this movie is titled simply SCOOB when everything that's been said about it confirms that it's a giant Hanna Barbera crossover and not an actual Scooby-Doo film?

I think SCOOB is an acronym for an Avengers-type mashup, with Scooby being the Captain America figure. But yeah, I'm not sure how prominent Scooby will be in it. Hopefully it doesn't give overly much attention to the other HB characters, or at least not so much that it overshadows Scooby.

Hmmm could be an interesting idea. Or it could turn out to be a complete trainwreck that doesn't fit the Scooby franchise one bit. Time will tell I guess Lol Leave a Reply. |
