Just like LEGO did in 2015, the Playmobil company has acquired the rights to create a new Scooby-Doo theme of merchandise. According to Toybook.com, Playmobil plans to release figures, vehicles, and play sets from the franchise. The new products will feature Fred, Velma, Daphne, Shaggy and Scooby figures, as well as the Mystery Machine. "Blind bags" and multi-packs will also be a part of this new line of merchandise.

Not a fan of this line already. Scooby looks like Scooby, Shaggy looks nothing like Shaggy. A better sculpt on the hair might improve the figure, but I doubt it.

You know, it doesn't look that great, does it? I agree Shaggy looks absolutely nothing like himself. I will be skipping this release as well.

I'm not sure! I don't think the LEGO sets have been discontinued or anything, so there could be more. Who knows? Maybe they'll make a Playmobil Scooby-Doo movie next haha.

Lego Scooby Doo sets were discontinued 3 or more years back now. Real shame as the new Rollercoaster tracks would make an awesome foul play in funland set. 6/23/2019 08:44:52 am
Interesting. I honestly did not know this. Thanks for the info.
