I realize that generally I reserve this blog for news, but I wanted to share that I've created a new page on the site. I've added a "List of Scooby-Doo Releases" page (which can be found under "Home Media Releases" on the side menu bar. On this page (or rather several pages) I've listed each individual DVD organized by the type of set. You can find pages for Season Sets, Volumes, and Movies. Under each set I've listed the cover art, release date, episodes included, format (ex: DVD vs. Blu-Ray), number of discs and any special features that the set may include. I hope this is a helpful tool that will make finding and classifying the DVDs you want easier, especially in the sense that WB often releases both volumes and season sets for the exact same series (A Pup Named Scooby-Doo, for example). The season sets are often less expensive in the long run, as they are generally about $20-30 while purchasing all the different volumes can run about $10 per volume. I created these pages in attempt to help Scooby fans research which DVDs have which episodes on them, as quite frankly it can be very challenging to know which DVDs are worth your money and which aren't. However, you may notice I did not include any of the double feature sets on the Movies page. I considered including them, but I worried it might make things too cluttered and confusing for people if I added all the double feature DVDs WB has released over the years. That's why I wanted to ask you all (as you're the ones who are viewing the site!) if you thought the double feature sets should be included on the page, or if would only serve to make the page confusing. If you have an opinion on this, please let me know in the poll below! POLL UPDATE: Due to the very close amount of votes between "Yes" and "No," I just added the titles of each of the double features for now. I also plan to eventually add a Compilation Sets page, though due to huge amount of compilation sets out there, it could take quite a while to complete. In the meantime, I hope these pages are useful and serve as a good research tool before you purchase any Scooby DVDs.

I don't know about the special features, but allow me to point out there's more special features in the KISS movie. The DVD has "Are You a Scooby or a Shaggy?" and a gag reel, while the Blu-ray has both these and the bonus episodes. ;)

Oh, thank you! I just went off of the Amazon listings to find these, and Amazon apparently didn't list those.
