Five of the Scooby-Doo theme songs share the exact same general rhythmic structure. The New Scooby-Doo Movies, The Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show, The Richie Rich / Scooby-Doo Show, The Scooby & Scrappy-Doo Puppy Hour, and The New Scooby and Scrappy-Doo Show all have the same rhythm to them with a slightly different sound.
Thanks Drakosleuth for coming up with this fun fact!

Completely unrelated to the post, but I just came across this fan-made "minisode" from way back for the first time in MANY years (and now I remember why I've been intrigued with the idea of a slasher Scooby project lol):

I remember that little minisode, but I had completely forgotten about it before you brought it up. It is an extremely strange film and I don't think I'd enjoy a slasher Scooby film, but then again, I don't really love slasher films in general haha.

I still think Orpheusftw's five part Misadventures of Skooks series is the best fan-made Scooby project.

I do like slasher films, at least when they're not hot garbage lmao (which happens too often, never watch the Wrong Turn or Leprechaun franchises). There are some great ones like the classic Nightmare on Elm Street, Halloween, Child's Play, Scream (and some of their sequels too). Strangely enough, the Friday the 13th franchise is definitely at its peak with Part 4 and the 2009 remake though (the remake being the best), followed by Part 2 and 6. Yeah, pretty weird to think about. Final Destination is a more fun slasher-esque franchise. And of course Matthew Lillard is in Scream and is awesome (that whole movie is amazing in itself, probably my favorite slasher). 9/5/2022 05:32:21 pm
I don't think I've seen Misadventures of Skooks, I'll have to check it out! I will say I enjoyed the classic Nightmare on Elm Street, and Scream was ridiculous, but I haven't seen Halloween, Friday the 13th or or Child's Play.

Funny because both Nightmare on Elm Street and Scream are directed by Wes Craven, considered one of gods of horror filmmaking. No wonder why, since those 2 films are both awesome, and they're famously his best work. Bringing the world two horror icons like Freddy Krueger and Ghostface in such great classics on top of that ain't an easy feat. I'll also say all the sequels to those two franchises that he worked on are very good (not to say the only good ones are just from him but the ones he's attached to do turn out good). 9/5/2022 09:53:41 pm
I was quite amused by Lillard in Scream as well haha. Haven't seen any of the sequels though; may have to check those out someday.

I don't like very many slashers but I do like Halloween, Halloween 5, Friday the 13th part 5, Psycho, and Straitjacket.

Hey Wildwind, I thought of a fun fact, in The Secret of Shark Island Sonnys where’s pajamas that have the same color of the Dragon Beast from The Demon of The Dugout. There’s also a dragon on the back of his pajamas.

I also thought of another fun fact, what’s your favorite episode/movie that takes place at a school.

I feel like Ghoul School would walk it comfortably. It's also the only school centered ep/film that comes to mind immediately. But would this include all the episodes of SDMI that feature the high school? Cuz that would be a whole lot of episodes then.

Well, I guess there is Spirited Spooked Sports Show, Crazy Carnival Caper, and Creature That Came From Chem Lab, also The Computer Walks Among Us

Still though, that poll would honestly be more interesting to see if Ghoul School was not included and we were voting for second place LOL 9/5/2022 11:38:35 am
I just thought of this, the poll could be a little broader and also include colleges, which would bring in Cyber Chase, "The Shrieking Madness!" and "Mystery 101" (there may be another one I'm forgetting, as I'm just thinking of these off the top of my head). 9/5/2022 11:23:16 am
I'm certainly up for trying that poll! I agree Ghoul School would win, but who knows, I guess we could be surprised. I'll have to think about the SDMI thing. I wouldn't be in favor of including it, just since the high school usually only shows up for a brief period and it's not really a school-focused episode, but I could see people wanting it to be included. I guess as a compromise, I could include "The Legend of Alice May" since that's centered around the school prom.

Other SDMI episodes with school settings would be: 9/5/2022 05:33:09 pm
I suppose I can include those if anyone wants to vote for them, and those that don't consider them school episodes don't have to include them in their rankings.

Digital eMation lists Scooby-Doo Meets Krypto in its portfolio as finished production in 2021 and shows two snapshots from it. Harley Quinn, Joker, Superman and many more were set to to appear… I wonder if we’ll ever get to see it now…

The link works for me. Thanks so much for sharing this! I honestly never thought we'd see anything about the movie again before it came out, so this was a great surprise! I hope we're still getting this movie.

I see it and it looks cool. Now I can’t wait to see this movie. Hopefully we get it in early 2023.
