The Chupacabra's roars from Scooby-Doo and the Monster of Mexico are archived recordings of Godzilla from the Hanna-Barbera Godzilla cartoon. Interestingly, Godzilla was voiced in that series by Ted Cassidy, who voiced Lurch in The New Scooby-Doo Movies episode "Wednesday Is Missing."

I could've also sworn that the dragon in Scoobra Kadoobra from 13 ghosts was just recycled noises of the gator ghoul random comment but still

I think you might be right. I know Hanna-Barbera recycled quite a bit of sound effects over the years, like the ghost in "Sandy Duncan's Jekyll and Hydes" is just a combination of recycled noises from the Mummy of Ankha and the Creeper. I just thought this one was particularly interesting since it was recycled from another show, but the voice actor it was recycled from had a different role as a guest star in Scooby.

Wednesday is Missing:
I really liked this episode. Scooby Doo and The Addams Family crossing over was such a good idea. The Addams Family were great guest stars. They added a lot of spookiness and creepiness to this episode.

I thought it was funny how Pugsley was able to dig to China and had his friend name Ling Poo come out of the sandbox. That’s just like in the cartoons. Heck I wondered if Scooby was the first cartoon to do that. Other funny things were Grandma saying oh baby to the howling wolf song. Shaggy trying putting the food to his mouth but cleopatra keep eating it. Daphne asking Shaggy if he wants to see Wednesday again and said yah and I want to see Thursday, Friday and Saturday.

I like that the motive is centered on the safety of kids again right after Foul Play In Funland. The Kids we’re having fun with the Addams Family stuff. I liked that. It showed that they are nice neighbors.

I thought The Addams Family was the perfect crossover too! The creepy tone of both shows worked perfectly together. I find it interesting that John Astin and Carolyn Jones agreed to come back for this crossover, but they didn't want to come back for the cartoon series a year later.

I enjoyed the vulture as a villain. I think they could have chosen a little bit scarier of a villain, but I liked it for what it was.

Yeah, it's interesting that they had multiple different culprits' motivations be keeping children safe.

Scooby Doo and The Monster of Mexico:
I really like this movie. It was just as good as Legend of the Vampire. With the use of music background from Scooby Doo Where Are You, music sequences through out the movie and I also liked that Legend of the Vampire was the movie at the theater the gang and Alejo and Louise stopped in front of.

The plot of Fred visiting his pen pal Alejo from Mexico just in time for the Day of The Dead festival was good. Alejo, Sophia, Louise, Jorge, and Delores were great characters. Alejo and Louise felt like they were part of the gang. Scooby and Chiquita were really cute together.

El Chupacabra was a really great villain . The opening scene with him appearing at the festival was pretty scary. Man those green eyes and the roars were so intense. It’s pretty interesting that for this movie the depicted him as Mexico’s version of Bigfoot as he’s actually a reptilian creature in real life.

I like that they interviewed the locals about the monster. That guy “ Like my Uncle Flacko” haha. It’s also nice that they did the callback of Daphne being a reporter from Zombie Island.

I like the chase sequence from the woods, to the city, to the museum, to the Aztec temple with all those living statues.

Fred learning Spanish in the movie was also a nice addition. Reminds me of him learning different languages from WNSD.

The scene where they were honoring Senor Otero and the his spirit rose and then Delores fainted is the spookiest scene in the movie.

Louise finding out that Charlene was a part of the whole thing must of really hurt. Like she even said that she had never loved him only his money. Also the scene between Alejo and Louise was very touching.

The ending of the movie was nice with everybody dancing and enjoying the rest of the festival.

I enjoyed this film too! I would say I liked Legend of the Vampire a little better, but this is still great. I also liked how reminiscent this was of Where Are You, and it was cool they got the old voice actors back! The reference to Legend of the Vampire was fun.

I agree that Alejo and Luis felt like part of the gang here. I liked all of the side characters as well, and Scooby's crush on Chiquita was cute.

I loved El Chupacabra as a villain; he was really creepy. I wonder what made them decide to have the villain be like Bigfoot rather than a reptile.

I thought Daphne being a reporter was a really cool callback too! The "Uncle Flaco" guy was funny haha.

The numerous settings of the film were great! Despite how many settings there were here, between the forest, the pyramid and the cemetery, all of them fit really well.

Yeah, Charlene saying she never loved Luis and just wanted his money was really cold.
