Fun Fact of the Week #331

Shaggy accidentally being drawn with Fred's blonde hair when sitting on the rock in "A Clue for Scooby-Doo" (Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?) is one of the most commonly cited animation errors in the Scooby franchise. One that's rarely mentioned, however, is that Shaggy's hair is accidentally colored like Velma's for a moment in "Gold Paw" (What's New, Scooby-Doo) when the gold monster slips on the floor.

Yah I am familiar with those errors. How about errors with the characters voices.

I remember in The New Scooby Doo Movies episode,"The Haunted Showboat" Scooby, Shaggy, and Alexander were running off the showboat screaming and you can hear Velma's voice within those screams. It probably has something to do with the fact that Casey Kasem did voice both Shaggy and Alexander in separate cartoons.

Yeah, that's definitely one of the most noticeable and bizarre voice errors in the franchise.

Oh gosh, there are a lot of those lol. Especially with Daphne and Velma in The New Scooby-Doo Movies. They're constantly switching voices!

I wonder why Scooby-Doo has had so many animation errors over the years?

Probably similar reasons, these things happen sometimes due to animation studios not caring or there being no time to get it fixed before air time. There's stories of Rocky and Bullwinkle where it took so long to get the art back from the Mexican studio doing that the first time they saw it, it was on the air.

The one I always remember is because Cartoon Network pointed it out in a promo, talking about Velma's "New" Glasses, (looked on youtube, but couldn't find it) and it just shows a frame or something from one of the new scooby doo movie batman episodes (think "the dynamic Scooby-Doo Affair) where velma's glasses weren't colored in and she had white frames.

That is one I had not noticed before. The one from A Clue for Scooby Doo is blatantly obvious but I’m surprised I haven’t seen this before

This one showed up only briefly, like for a few seconds.
