Rachel Kimsey, who voiced Wonder Woman in the Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? episode "The Scooby of a Thousand Faces!", also played Daphne in the Scooby-Doo! Stagefright stage production in 2003!
Thank you so much to Bradford N. Smith for sharing this fun fact!

This is a fascinating tidbit. Rachel Kimsey has some history with the "Scooby-Doo" and DC Universe franchises. :)

I had no idea that Rachel Kimsey was so involved in the Scooby franchise before Bradford shared this with me. It's really cool!

(Kinda) Fun Fact: Randy Rogel, the main songwriter for Scooby-Doo! Music of the Vampire, worked a lot on Animaniacs and Batman: The Animated Series; which were (co-)created by Tom Ruegger, the guy who also helmed the 1983-1988 Scooby shows. And I guess you can also say both Rogel and Ruegger made Shaphne fans happy haha.

Haha interesting, though do you think it's related enough to Scooby to interest people? I'll admit I'm a little on the fence on posting this one since it's very tangential and isn't necessarily very related to anything Scooby.

Yeah, I know it doesn't have much to do with Scooby-Doo itself. It's the reason I said "kinda". 4/24/2020 05:18:03 pm
Thinking about it more, I don't think I will post it as a fun fact for that reason, but I really appreciate you sharing it! <3 Leave a Reply. |
