In "South Pole Vault" of The New Scooby-Doo Mysteries, Dr. Carlin's voice is just Tony Pope, his voice actor, doing an impression of Carl Sagan. Dr. Carlin also makes various references to Carl Sagan, including his constant repetition of the phrase "millions and billions" throughout the episode.

Thanks for the offer, I'll stick to comments and emails. If you ever want to view any of my merch, I'm over at Snupps @kirkyscollections (I've just posted up the Italian Mystery Incorporated Sticker Album and plan to get more soon). Oh and as I know you are interested, Playmobil has those blind bags planned for release in the Uk in May, https://www.playmobil.co.uk/scooby-doo%21-mystery-figures--series-1-/70288.html. All the best, Sam.

And here is mine to you. In the film Scooby Doo Mask of The Blue Falcon, Mr Hyde's attacks are apparently in chronological order. Episodes 1-3, then 22 and finally as a giant, but at 55:17 it clearly shows on the VHS that the giant episode is actually episode 17, thus meaning the villain is not going in chronological order, a clear oops from the animators there.

Thank you! I think this was one of my earliest fun facts that was posted back in 2014 (don't have a specific number though, would need to look that up). That always bugged me though too.
