Thanks to Scoobylover from the ScoobyAddicts forum, this is the translation of the plot from Annecy.org, which also gave us the animation image. In its first (animated) feature destined for the big screen, Scooby-Doo is the hero of his own story. This adventure reveals how he and his best friend Shaggy became two of the world’s most appreciated crime solvers. It brings us back to the time where everything began, when Scooby and Shaggy, still young at the time, met up and got together with Daphne, Velma and Fred to inaugurate the Mystery Incorporated.

I'm thinking now that it's going to be a full-on Scooby film with Hanna-Barbera characters in smaller supporting roles. I don't mind that at all to be honest. It sounds like a pretty cool plot, even if it is just another origin story, and I'm excited to see it!

I think so too, though I think their parts won't be overly large, or at least not enough to overshadow the gang's starring roles in the film.
