Happy Wednesday everyone! Today’s fan spotlight is Prime 1986, a Scooby fan from the ScoobyAddicts forum who is a Mystery Machine fanatic! Check out his fan spotlight below.
1. What is your name? Prime 1986 2. How did you get into Scooby-Doo? I've been watching it since I can remember. 3. What is your favorite Scooby-Doo episode and film? Why? Favorite Episode is What's New Scooby-Doo "It's Mean, It's Green, It's The Mystery Machine! Mostly because the episode revolves around The Mystery Machine. Favorite Movie has to be Scooby-Doo and the Loch Ness Monster, mostly because it's kinda nostalgic. 4. What ways are you involved in the Scooby fandom online? I'll post any news I find on the ScoobyAddicts Boards. 5. In your opinion, what is the best series or era of Scooby? I personally like What's New Scooby-Doo. I think it blends modern stuff perfectly into a franchise going over 50 years now! 6. What one Scooby-Doo series or film would you want a sequel to someday? Easily the 2002 and 2004 Live action films. They always deserved more credit and at least a 3rd movie. 7. What direction would you like to see the franchise go in the future? I'd think going into SD Mystery Incorporated styled things, Like a darker tone but not horror movie dark. 8. Who is your favorite member of the gang and why? It’d probably be Shaggy! His humor, the overall character, and the voice talents are great! 9. What is your favorite villain? Why? Probably the Aliens in The Alien Invaders. The movie just has an interesting plot as it is and everything just comes together so nicely! 10. In your opinion, who is the best recurring (non-gang) character in the franchise? The Hex Girls! 11. Do you have a Scooby-Doo collection? If so, what’s in it? Every once in a while I'll pick up a Mystery Machine or 2, lol. 12. What do you think has made the franchise so popular that it’s still going strong after 50 years? The adaptability, like I think everyone can relate to a member of the gang in one way or another. 13. What is one fun fact about you in real life? I've studied The Mystery Machine a lot and I have found out it's a 1965 Chevrolet G-10 Shorty van without side barn-doors. 14. Please feel free to share anything else you’d like to here! I have a toy of The Mystery Machine from the 2002 movie that I've never seen before! (It's the header image of the post.) Agreed! That movie's really underrated and deserves as much credit as Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost, at least IMO.

I have it at number 2 on my movie list, behind only Zombie Island and just ahead of Camp Scare and Witch’s Ghost, so absolutely 9/8/2022 08:46:35 am
Witch's Ghost is definitely a little bit ahead of Alien Invaders for me, but it's definitely close behind in my top 10 Scooby films. Ghoul School and Boo Brothers are first, then Zombie Island and Witch's Ghost, then Reluctant Werewolf, and I'd say Alien Invaders is sixth. Leave a Reply. |
