 Amazon has just released the back cover art for the upcoming Daphne & Velma live-action film. The film, featuring Sarah Gilman and Sarah Jeffery, is currently slated to be released on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. Bonus features on the DVD and Blu-Ray set will include a gag reel, and three featurettes: "An Updated Classic Mystery," "Iconic Styles of Daphne & Velma Reimagined" and "Daphne & Velma: A New Ambition." Additionally, the back cover lists actress Vanessa Marano as part of the starring cast. Currently, it is unknown what her role in the film is. Marano is possibly most famous for her role on the long-running CBS comedy The Young and the Restless. Here's the back cover art for the DVD set:

I'm a tiny bit skeptical about the movie as well, though tbh it looks really cute. Hopefully it will be good.

Being a huge SCOOBY fan I will give it a go, but from the trailer and the DVD artwork, it is very clear they are downplaying the horror elements. 4/27/2018 09:13:12 am
Yeah, clearly they're going for the more silly/cute plotline here rather than the spooky/horror element of the show. I'm glad to hear so many people are going to at least give it a chance though. We'll never know how good the film is until we watch it :) Leave a Reply. |
