Amazon UK lists three bonus episodes for the upcoming DTV, The Sword and the Scoob!:
Not the episodes I would have wanted, especially not "Hassle in the Castle" for the 24th time (not an exaggeration, it actually has been released that many times exactly), but I guess at least they fit the theme!

I agree. Both have already been released around 20 times (in Hassle in the Castle's case, 24).

Ideally what episodes would you have liked to see?

This is probably not most people's opinions, but honestly, I'd like to get as many of the unreleased episodes on there as possible. My picks would have been:

My picks would be either Scared A Lot in Camelot, Large Dragon at Large, and A Run Cycle Through Time or Scared A Lot in Camelot Large Dragon at Large and The Grasp of the Gnome.

"Scared a Lot in Camelot" is a childhood favorite, so I'm very happy to see it there. The other two, while great episodes, are just really overused and don't quite fit the theme. Sure, "What a Night for a Knight" has, well, a knight, but it's in a museum. And "Hassle in the Castle" is about a phantom in a pirate castle on a deserted island. I think that's completely irrelevant. My picks for the other 2 episodes would be "Wizards and Warlocks" and "Large Dragon at Large". Other episodes like "The Grasp of the Gnome" and "Renn Scare" also fit, but I think the 2 I picked are closer to the theme of the film.

That’s what I hate about these dvd movies. They put a bonus episode(s) that don’t really fit the theme. Like for Scooby Doo Camp Scare dvd the bonus episode was Beware the Beast from Below. That’s a good episode but doesn’t fit the theme. It should’ve been Camp Comeoniwannascareya. That wanna better fits the theme of the Camp Scare. Both involve the gang being camp counselors at a summer camp. Well the episode it was jus shaggy and Scooby and the the movie was the whole gang. Kids helping the gang solve the mystery. A ghost story or ghost stories coming to life.

Totally agree. At the time, SDMI had just come out so I think they wanted to promote that, which is why I think that episode was a bonus.

As Wildwind said, the SDMI pilot was on the Camp Scare DVD to promote the show which was new at the time. Same way the Be Cool pilot is on the Curse of the Speed Demon DVD. 12/16/2020 04:07:54 pm
Weird that no DVD had Guess Who. Maybe they didn't want to put it on Return to Zombie Island for some reason. 12/16/2020 10:06:05 am
How could I forget "Renn Scare"? That's another one that should have been a bonus episode given it's unreleased haha.

True never though of it like that. When a new series comes out you want to promote it as much as possible.

I would agree scared a lot in Camelot but not hastle in the castle or what a knight for a knight in my opinion renn scare would replace what a knight for a night and Scooby-Doo and guess who the sword the fox and the scoob would have replaced hastle in the castle because the title of the episode almost is the same as the title of the movie
