Some of you may remember that VideoETA, a DVD and Blu-Ray announcement site, had months ago originally listed the Be Cool, Scooby-Doo! Season 1, Part 2 set for release on March 28, 2017. In early March, VideoETA removed the March 28th date from their site, listing an updated December 12th release date for the set. It seems the DVD set has been delayed once again, as VideoETA has now completely deleted the original listing from their site. At one point, Amazon also listed "2017" as the set's release date on their site, which has now been removed and replaced with a "Currently unavailable: We don't know when or if this item will be in stock" message. It is unknown why the set was delayed once again, however, one possible reason is that WB wants to promote the show only on the Boomerang app and VOD service, rather than having the show available on multiple platforms for people to watch.

So what, we won't have the second half of season 1 on DVD? WHV has not yet released season 2 of "The Looney Tunes Show" on DVD. Please don't tell me the same thing will happen with Be Cool....

I didn't realize "The Looney Tunes Show" season 2 hasn't been released yet! I doubt that we won't ever get the second half of season 1, especially since (as you mentioned) the single disc sets have been released in other countries. I'm sure it will be released at some point, though as I mentioned in the post, I'm imagining the reason it keeps getting held back is because WB wants to try to get people to watch the episodes on their new app/service in order to promote the service as much as possible. Unfortunately, that seems to be the way of the world now days, where people prefer their content digitally rather than physically. *Grumble stupid digital age grumble*

Buy it from Australia and get a multi-region dvd player. I've been quite surprised with the amount of Scooby Doo fans unhappy with season 1's release earlier in the year when it couldn't be found online etc. yet almost none of them seemed to work out that it would cost them just £15/$20 to get second half from Australia. Beatthebomb currently has it in stock. You unhappy with Scooby doo releases, live in the UK, my multi-region player is only choice I have!

Ironically I just purchased the episodes off of iTunes (which now has all of Season 1 for those in the US) so I will probably just stick with those for now. Thanks for letting me know about the multi-region DVD player, that's definitely a good option, especially for those who don't live the US and can't purchase them anywhere else.

No problem and I know it's crazy, I ended up watching remaining season 1 on that dvd, knew about season 2 but it was only through chance I clicked onto kimcartoon and then another clip to a weebly page where I started to find actual episodes. Either of those sites now have 20/26 of season 2's episodes. I don't know what this site is like for links so won't post them but type kimcartoon into google or second one is bcsds1s2 then .weebly then .com all one word. If you are hunting for season 2 episodes they are where to go. 9/10/2017 04:48:35 pm
Yep, I've heard of both the Weebly site and KimCartoon, I believe they actually get their uploads (at least these current ones coming from Australia) from a video site called ShareMania. A user on there named Rampaigingfires has been uploading episodes that are currently airing on Boomerang Australia. I know the original season 2 uploads (episodes 1-15) definitely originated from ShareMania and were posted on there by Dfrazzer (who I believe is the site moderator?) who said she got them from Boomerang UK. 11/16/2017 10:06:27 am
so if people buy it from Australia will it have subtitles such as English if not it's okay even though you people in the uk are lucky all because you guys all the new lego sets first before us when people in the U. S. are stuck with oldish lego sets.

The main language spoken in Australia is English, so the audio on the DVD is in English too. :) I would imagine they would have English subtitles on the DVD as well.

That's interesting to know and it doesn't surprise me at all, the show has been littered with poor releasing and nobody has informed the fans why specifically. The fact that an episode in Florida featuring a Storm was released on the same day as Hurricane Irma hit Florida sums it up nicely.

Oh yeah, "Night of the Upsetting Shorts" takes place in Florida! I didn't even think about that, very poor timing on their part in that case.
