SCOOB! is still topping the digital charts on three major streaming services even three weekends after its release! I've also uncovered a ton of concept art from SCOOB! and original background paintings. There are way too many pictures to directly embed into this post, so here is a link to some of the early concept art by John Nevarez. The visuals are absolutely breathtaking, and it looks quite a bit darker than the movie ended up being. In one particular piece of art, Dick Dastardly appears to face off against the Grim Reaper, as well as some super creepy toys attacking Shaggy in his bedroom when he was young.
Also be sure to check out these more character-focused designs including some different outfits they were thinking about going with for each character at one time. I have to say, Cerberus's design is absolutely amazing and blow the others away! I'm happy with the character designs they went with, but Daphne's alternate outfits were kind of cute and I wouldn't have minded seeing them, even if it was just for a scene! And another group of them, mainly of the Rotten robots, but Sheriff Bronson Stone is in this group! I wonder if this means he was originally going to be in the film! And this confirms Sheriff Stone was going to make an appearance! And maybe even Dr. Coffin? And yet another group from Paul Sullivan, showing that some other Hanna-Barbera characters that would have been more prominently featured in an early draft of the film, including Jabberjaw, Penelope Pitstop, Atom Ant and Grape Ape. And some more very dark pieces of concept art found by Lance Rutt! And even more concept art! Alex Constad Great Gazoo Amanda MacFarlane Cathleen McAllister Last but not least, these might be the coolest of them all...here are some storyboards of scenes that were originally going to be in SCOOB! The clicking through scenes takes a while, but it's totally worth it! Thank you so much again to Bradford for finding these and sharing these with me! I'll be interested to hear what you all think of them in the comments!

Sarah Michelle Gellar, Matthew Lillard and Freddie Prinze Jr. had a long history of working together prior to the first two live action movies. Both Lillard and Prinze starred in the 1999 films "Wing Commander" and "She's All That," the latter of which also had a brief uncredited appearance from Gellar. The 2001 film "Summer Catch" featured both Lillard and Prinze as well, with Gellar in a small role. Prinze and Gellar would also star together in "I Know What You Did Last Summer," and Gellar and Lillard worked together in "Scream 2."
