Thanks to some clever sleuthing by Scoobster96 from the ScoobyAddicts forum, some official SCOOB! toys were found on Walmart's online store. Whilst no release dates are provided, images of the SCOOB! toys to come were released. As seen above, we will be getting a Mystery Machine toy that makes sounds and has lights. In addition, numerous action figures will be released to commemorate the film. These include: Scooby and Captain Caveman 2-Pack, Shaggy and Dynomutt 2-Pack, Blue Falcon and Muttley 2-Pack, as well as "Super Scooby" and Dick Dastardly 2-Pack. Several plush animals will also be made, including Scooby, Muttley, Captain Caveman and Dynomutt. Check out the images for all these below. Designs for Captain Caveman, Muttley and Dick Dastardly have not been released yet in the actual film, but it can be assumed the character design will look like the toys do.

Halsey, who will be guest-starring in the Guess Who episode "The New York Underground!" got her stage name from a street in the real-life New York Underground, named Halsey Street.

What is the best Scooby episode/film to watch on Valentine's Day? Alien Invaders - 23 A Scooby-Doo Valentine - 18 Legend of Alice May - 2 Poodle Justice - 1 For me, the classic episode I always watch on Valentine's Day is "A Scooby-Doo Valentine," though the romance between Shaggy/Crystal and Scooby/Amber is sooo sweet in Alien Invaders! <3 A bit surprised that one won though! Check out this sneak preview of the Mark Hamill episode, entitled "The Sword, The Fox and the Scooby-Doo!" Looks like a decent episode, though that fox monster looks very cartoony...and not in a good way IMO.
This was a pretty good episode!
Atmospherically, the setting was top notch. The creepy old isolated mansion really worked for the episode overall. I thought the Nightmare Ghost, however, was the star of the episode. The Nightmare Ghost's design gave me some real Slenderman vibes, which was super creepy especially with the lore behind him. I thought the Nightmare Ghost's use of snowblowers was also pretty cool, particularly in the scene where he causes the multiple levels of the mansion to be covered in snow and ice. As a guest star, Whoopi was pretty decent. She seemed really into the role and there were some cute moments between her and Shaggy and Scooby. She's probably one of my favorite guest stars so far. Thank you so much to Peralaan for sending me the episode file, without which I wouldn't have been able to see this episode! Let's update the Star-Studded Scoreboard after a five-month break! Star-Studded Scoreboard: 1. Elementary, My Dear Shaggy! (Favorite episode) 2. When Urkel-Bots Go Bad! 3. What a Night, for a Dark Knight! 4. Attack of the Weird Al-osaurus! 5. The Cursed Cabinet of Professor Madds Markson! 6. The Nightmare Ghost of Psychic U! 7. Revenge of the Swamp Monster! 8. The Scooby of a Thousand Faces! 9. Now You Sia, Now You Don't! 10. Quit Clowning! 11. Peebles' Pet Shop of Terrible Terrors! 12. Ollie Ollie In-come Free! 13. The Fastest Food Fiend! 14. A Mystery Solving Gang Divided (Least favorite episode) In an early version of the "Scooby in Wonderland" script, Shaggy was going to be the Cheshire Cat. This version was later scrapped and the Cheshire Cat was designed more closely to how he was in the book in the final product.
Here are last week's poll results:
What episode number is "A Clue for Scooby-Doo?" Episode 2 - 38 Episode 3 - 19 I'm very sorry to inform you that 38 of you are wrong. Lol jk, personally I believe while the different title card shows it was produced as the second episode, it was actually aired as the third episode. This is the way it is listed on the original Where Are You Complete Seasons 1 & 2 DVD release, so I'm minded to believe they went by the airing order. Happy Valentine's Day everyone! <3 Check out these two new trailers just released! One trailer is for Playmobil, which shows the character designs in action (and oddly calls the Miner 49er "The Caretaker"), and the other is for new episodes of Guess Who on Boomerang. The Guess Who one shows us the Halsey design, reveals a ghost knight as the villain for the George Takei episode "Hollywood Knights," and reveals a gator monster in an upcoming episode (though they just talk about him, and don't show the design). Enjoy! And here's an additional Playmobil one, which it's been brought to my attention that these Playmobil ones are actually shorts and not trailers. Good news for those living in the UK, as Boomerang will begin premiering brand new Scooby-Doo and Guess Who? episodes every weekday, beginning on February 17 at 9am. While the rest of the world continues waiting for new episodes, this does mean we get a couple of new titles, guest stars, and descriptions.
The New York Underground! Shaggy and Scooby join a poetry contest in Central Park, New York. The Sword, The Fox, and the Scooby-Doo! The gang takes a trip to Japan where they meet Mark Hamill during his class reunion. When Mark's favorite teacher is kidnapped, the gang has to help Mark find him and stop the fox monster who did it. One-Minute Mysteries! The gang meets Barry Allen, better known as superhero The Flash! Hollywood Knights! The gang and George Takei explore a haunted building in the Hollywood Hills. Thanks so much to Scoobylover from the ScoobyAddicts forum for sharing this info that he found on some Swedish TV Guide listings! |
