Update: The release date has been pushed back to June 10, 2020.
On Amazon France, a complete season 1 DVD has been listed for release on May 6, 2020. The DVD set will include all 26 episodes of season 1 and will be a four disc set, running 572 minutes. While no DVD release has been announced for any other region, and half of season 1 still not even aired in the US, do you think the rest of the world will also get that DVD release soon? Thanks Gross108 for bringing this to my attention!

I hope so! I absolutely would love to have the DVD release perhaps after all episodes air in the U.S. Although, they still haven't released Be Cool Scooby Doo season 2 on DVD, so there could be possibilities.

It's really surprising they still haven't released BCSD Season 2 on DVD yet! I wonder if they will do that first before releasing Guess Who.

Hard to say, I know certain things get released in other countries for odd reasons, music rights, rights issues, etc, or just flat out being more popular (mystic knights of tyr na nog, I think is on dvd in germany of all places). I do hope for this release AND BCSD as I love that show and it's probably in my top 5 scooby series. 3/20/2020 02:51:26 pm
I'm betting it's a popularity thing, with all the negative backlash on the character designs. I really hope they do release it someday, because it's also in my top 5 Scooby series!

I actually think he saw the Bill Nye and Neil DeGrasse Tyson episode because I check the guide and had the monster's name updated. BTW, I really love the guides.

Check yesterday's review. The source for the videos won't get the Bill Nye/Neil deGrasse Tyson episode. He found the monster name from a friend in Italy who saw the episode. 3/19/2020 11:18:19 am
@Drakosleuth: Peralaan is correct, I just got it from asking someone in Italy what the villain was. It hasn't been posted on HBO Spain, and is being held back for some unexplained reason. 3/19/2020 11:16:49 am
Just saw it, and it's weird. It's a full musical episode and Scrappy is briefly referenced.

While it doesn't say so, I'd bet heavily that the original english audio will be included. I've purchased a few things from France and Italy over the years that were cheaper than the same product on the North American market and the original English has always been there, just a click of the audio button on the player.

Interesting, I didn't know that they included English versions in the Italian and French versions. Suppose it makes sense though, as from my trip to Italy this past summer, many people in Italy seemed to know English.

Well, it's not a for sure that the English would be included but I have yet to buy a foreign language version of an English show or film that hasn't included the original English audio track. 3/20/2020 08:29:53 pm
Ah gotcha. Interesting about the computer DVD drive, I honestly had no idea that there was such a thing as an external version that you could use via USB. Leave a Reply. |
